Does the idea of storing your beloved electronics in your storage unit make you kind of weary? If you take the proper care of them, you don’t need to worry! Below are five tips that will ensure the utmost safety of your electronics!
1.) Check your manual!
Before you do anything, check the company’s advice on how to properly store them. This might be found on the bottom of the receipt or the owner's manual. While you are at it, see if the item is covered under warranty before storing.
2.) Use blankets or padding.
Bubble cushion would be the best, but if you don’t have any, blankets also work for larger devices, such as TV’s or other fragile items. Just wrap the item tight and upright when wrapped. If

These can get easily damaged when moved with the device, so removing them ensures they stay safe! A plastic container or a zip-lock bag will do the trick.
4.) Keep them inside the original packaging.
The original packaging is specifically made for that item to sit in, so that’s a pretty good indication it is safe from wear and tear when kept inside the box.
5.) Take photos of the connectors.
If you really want to be effective and save time, then snap some photos of the connectors! This helps you out when you need to reassemble it. If you remove it in the future from storage, you can refer to the image for easy assembling!
